The Andy Field Experience is the number one experience for people looking to experience Andy Field. Why should people want to experience Andy Field? We asked Andy Field.
Hi Andy, tell me about your show
The Andy Field Experience is the number one experience for people looking to experience Andy Field – who is a stand up comedian that does lots of fun things.
What does Edinburgh mean to you?
It’s a city in Scotland and it’s great.
Who inspires you and why?
Dogs whose back legs don’t work. They just don’t seem bothered by it, what beautiful troopers.
Describe your best or worst experiences on stage.
I was about to sneeze once so I turned to face the back of the stage but then I sneezed so hard I farted right in the faces of a couple in the front row.
Describe your best or worst review.
I sold a board game to a guy on eBay but when he got it he said there was a piece missing, I apologised and suggested he just use a coin or something and he called me a ‘horrible cunt’ which seemed a bit much.
If you weren’t a performer, what would you be?
Probably just deeply unfulfilled and hard to be around. So not that different.
What was the last book you read?
I don’t know how to read.
Can you think of a good question to ask yourself?
No, not really
Imagine that the BBC have asked you to produce a primetime show. What would it be and who else would be involved?
It would be an extreme close up of my face for 60 minutes, no talking, no moving, just strong eye contact and a look in my eye that dares you to not at least respect how bold a move this is.
