Tell me about your 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Life’s a Drag.
My show is a tale of surviving the pandemic as a self-employed drag performer – taking lemons and turning them into lemonade! Dating horror stories, being separated from family, and everything in between. It’s a bit of a roller coaster ride!
You’re an Aussie drag performer, singer, actor and DJ. But what’s the dream job?
I’ve always wanted to be a singer…I just never knew drag would be the vehicle that made it happen. I guess some would say I’m living the dream!
This is your Edinburgh Fringe debut. What have you heard about the city? What are your expectations of the Fringe?
I’ve heard it’s very beautiful and full of history! My expectation of the festival is that it’s going to be huge! Bigger than any of the Australian Festivals I’ve been part of which is super exciting!
You’ve shared a stage with Adele… dressed as Adele! Tell me about that.
It’s one of those fever dream moments where I still to this day stop and think did that actually happen! It was such an insane time – it went viral and opened up so many doors for me so I’ll forever be grateful. Thanks Adele!
