Please tell me about your 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show
Imagine if Prince and Mae West were best friends.
Now throw in some glitter, filth, a dash of camp and you’re nearly there…
After travelling the globe seeking the reaffirmation their lovers never gave them, Ganesh and Cydney have landed in Edinburgh, on a mission to rid the city of lovesickness.
Clinic is a new cabaret experience, that’s cliché and unconventional in equal measure. With the help of a little audience participation, some outrageously intimate anecdotes and original songs, patients are taken on a euphoric and enlightening journey towards sexual discovery and self-love.

What is the attraction of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe? What do you think of Edinburgh?
We’ve travelled the world, don’t you know? From Mumbai… to Miami… to McDonald’s, but we absolutely can’t wait to see you at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. There’s something so magical about the quorum of desperate artists and lovesick queers at the Fringe that simply turns us on. We’re bringing our A-game to the city so you better be prepared – we’re going to dominate the Fringe.. one sequin at a time!
Who inspires you?
We stand on the shoulders of whole host of fabulous, queer and ‘queer-adjacent’ performers that inspire us. Greta Garbo, and Monroe, Deitrich and DiMaggio… Marlon Brando, Jimmy Dean – oh wait, isn’t that a song?
Are there other shows you want to check out during the Fringe? What are they?
We take our medical profession very seriously (it’s not easy healing a city of lovesickness!) so there’ll be very little time to check out other show… However, we’ll be sure to catch the other fabulous queer acts at the Underbelly. I hear Karen From Finance has traveled all the way from Down Under! And who can resist the beautiful artists in Briefs: Bite Club? Even world-class doctors need their rest days once in a while…

Lovesickness is the most common illness in the world today but do not worry! We’re here to help you. At our Clinic, we have developed an innovative and revolutionary method to help our patients overcome their trauma. It’s based on three universal principles: self-discovery, truth and imagination – summed up with the neat acronym… STI. With our approach, patients say goodbye to lovesickness and HELLO to love. So strap yourself in… It’s going to be a bumpy ride!
