Please tell me about your 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show,
Power has, finally, gone to the people. Only these aren’t the right people. Cassie and Georgie are two regular Joes with no experience of politics and a lot of big ideas. Do they have what it takes to save the world? Will a distinctly millennial approach help them solve the biggest global problems? Or will Cassie and Georgie just make things infinitely worse?
What is the attraction of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe?
The Fringe is unique in the breadth of talent (hot people) it attracts. We have missed the crowds and we look forward to being closer than 2m and touching our own faces.
We’re also very excited to see who will hold on to the spinny bar outside Fringe Central for long enough to win £100!
Who inspires you?
We’ve been inspired by our Prime Minister, he is the biggest joke of all.
We get inspired by problems, and oh boy, we have a few. We’re avoiding our own problems in General Secretary by exploring some huge global issues and power dynamics.
Are there other shows you want to check out during the Fringe? What are they?
We’re very excited to see…
Suchandrika Chakrabarti – we keep getting put on the same preview line-ups but have yet to get to see her show. We are also excited to see so many, some include Seìayonceì, Celya AB, Isabelle Farah, Mary O’Connell, Bella Hull, Sharlin Jahan, Rajiv Karia, Alex Kealy and who can forget, the Duchess of Canvey herself, Diane Chorley.
Finally, ask and answer a question of your own.
On which mic? On where mic? On who mic??? Who is Michael?
