Tell me about your Edinburgh show.
Last year we took up MARVELus: All the Marvel Movies… Kind Of, it was amazing! Packed out everyday with beautiful nerds! But there was a limit to how many of the movies we could pack into one show – so for 2018, we’re doing some more!
Tell me about your first gig.
Our first gig was an improv gig in an awesome venue called The Miller in London Bridge. We had a lot of fun and got very drunk after.
Do you have any rituals before going on stage?
The handshake from Spiderman: Homecoming.
Tell me about your best and worst review.
The best reviews are the smiles on the audiences’ faces… and the comedy award nomination we got. Actually, scrap the smiles, the award nom was way better.
During this Edinburgh run, do you plan to read reviews of your show?
Damn right!
How do you feel about reviewers generally?
If they’re interested in the Marvel Movies, they are more than welcome to come to our show. If they’re not interested in the Marvel movies, maybe DON’T COME TO REVIEW A SHOW ABOUT THE MARVEL MOVIES!!!!
In April 2018, YouTube comedian, Markus Meechan (aka Count Dankula) was fined £800 for training his girlfriend’s pug dog to do a Nazi salute with its paw, in response to the phrase ‘Gas the Jews’. Do you believe Meechan committed a criminal offence, and why?
I don’t know what this has to do with anything.
Are there any subjects that are not suitable for comedy?
DC Movies.
Have you ever gone too far?
We’ve gone far too niche! Making extremely nerdy references and have one audience slow clap. That’s always fun.
Looking back over your time as a comedian, tell me about the best gig of your career.
They’ve all been the best gigs of our career. Except for the one that we wanted to go well. That one sucked.
